• Several contributions have been made by LACAP in the past five years. LACAP programs provide second-generation Latino-Canadians a sense of identity, of belonging to a community incredibly rich in history, culture and creativity. Its events also attract the interests of Canadians of diverse cultural backgrounds and age groups by including new and unique programming, such as the Capoeira and children’s art workshops, creative writing workshops for women, round tables, exhibits, concerts, artist talks and community forums. It is no surprise that LACAP was selected to become an Artscape tenant of the newly renovated Artscape-Wychwood Barns, which was inagurated in November 2008. An outstanding example of recognition by fellow art organizations in Ontario.

  • This has been achieved thanks to the hard work of very talented and generous volunteers who have shared their time, skills, efforts and knowledge. Be part of this growth. VOLUNTEER WITH LACAP.
