• In 2003, LACAP donated 75% of the profits from the Salvador Allende concert to two distinct organizations: Mujer a Latin American women's organization ($1,000) and to Eva's Print Shop a social entreprise which trains and employs homeless youth in downtown Toronto ($1,000). Since receiving programming grants from the art councils in 2005, LACAP has allocated more than 60% of its budget to pay artists and 30% to arts production support costs. In 2008 all proceeds from the Salvador Allende Festival concert will go to the establishment of bursaries to support Latin American high school students who wish to pursue post-secondary studies in the arts.

  • Not everyone has the time to volunteer, therefore donating money is also a way of supporting LACAP's work. Your financial contribution of $50+ is tax deductable and will go directly to your fund stream of choice:
• Arts Programming
• LACAP Operations
• or Bursaries.
